Open Pairs Format

• The Final will be played by a total of 52 pairs (see SCoCo): 3 from Semifinal B, 2 drop-ins, and 47 from Semifinal A (top 48, as there was one withdrawal).
• There will be no carry-over.

Women’s Pairs Format

• The Final will be played by 20 pairs: 2 from Semifinal B, 4 drop-ins, and 14 from Semifinal A.
• There will be no carry-over.

Jacek Pszczola Swiss Cup

• 17 qualify for the Final. They will be joined by 3 drop-ins.
• A carry-over of 6, 4, and 2 VP respectively will be awarded to the top three teams from the Semifinal to the Final.
• Teams eliminated after the Semifinal can drop into the BAM qualification.

BAM

• TEAMS QUALIFIED TO THE FINAL: 18
• MAXIMUM DROP INS: 2
• MINIMUM QUALIFIERS: 16

Tournament Announcement

According to the Conditions of Contest, drop-in teams should not be paired against one another in their first round of a Swiss. However, with only 24 teams already in the event and 28 drop-in teams joining, this is technically impossible.

Consequently, the Championship Committee has decided that drop-in teams will strictly be paired against another randomly selected drop-in team in the first round.
