Players must be members in good standing (not necessarily nationals) of the Federation through which they enter.

The Championships are open to all such players in the following age brackets

• Players in U16 events must be 15 or younger on December 31 of the year of the competition.
• Players in the U21 events must be 20 or younger on December 31 of the year of the competition.
• Players in the U26 events must be 25 or younger on December 31 of the year of the competition.
• Players in the U31 events must be 30 or younger on December 31 of the year of the competition.

To be eligible for participation in the 2024 World Youth Transnational Championships all participants must comply with the WBF Laws and Rules & Regulations.
