Eindhoven airport
https://www.eindhovenairport.nl/en/destinations
Eindhoven airport has many flights all over Europe.
Especially, but not only, for those who come from other continents it might be practical to choose another airport and travel the last part of your trip by train. Here are some options.
Amsterdam Schiphol airport
https://www.schiphol.nl/en/route-development/airport-facts/intercontinental-destinations/
KLM offers a connecting bus service from Amsterdam to Eindhoven airport vv, but only twice a day. It might be much more convenient to take the train from Schiphol airport, which runs at least twice per hour from 6 am until 10.30 pm. The railway station is very conveniently situated at the airport. It takes 1.5 hour by train to Eindhoven.
Rotterdam The Hague airport
https://www.rotterdamthehagueairport.nl/en/plan-your-trip/flights/destinations/
You need a public bus (or taxi), appr. 20 minutes, to travel from this airport to the closest railway station, Rotterdam Centraal. From there, it is 1 hour to Eindhoven Centraal, twice per hour.
Brussels airport Zaventem (Belgium)
https://www.brusselsairport.be/en/passengers/destinations#/
The railway station is at the airport and there is a direct connection to Breda where you can change to Eindhoven. The trip takes just over two hours, once per hour.
Brussels South Charleroi airport (Belgium); mostly Europe only
https://www.brussels-charleroi-airport.com/en/destinations
Transfers by bus (20 minutes) to Chairleroi railway station. From there, by train to Eindhoven, two changes in appr. 2.5 hours.
Düsseldorf airport (Germany)
https://www.dus.com/en/flights/destinations
The railway station is at the airport. There are connections through different routes that require two or three changes before arriving in Eindhoven. The trip takes approximately two hours, depending on the connection chosen.
Weeze airport (Germany); almost only European destinations
https://airport-weeze.com/our-destinations/?lang=en
You need a transfer bus, appr. ten minutes, to Weeze railway station. From there, frequent connections but three changes to Eindhoven. The train trip will take at least 2.5 hours.
By train
You might choose to come all the way by train. Eindhoven Centraal does not have any direct international connections, but there are various good options as below.
Coming from the south.
Either take Thalys from Paris – Brussels – Antwerp to Rotterdam and change there; see at Rotterdam The Hague airport.
There is also a connection between Liege (Belgium) and Maastricht. From Maastricht, frequent connections once or twice per hour, just one hour to Eindhoven.
Coming from the east.
Either cross the border at Arnhem (from the Ruhrgebiet, through Cologne, Düsseldorf, Oberhausen) or at Venlo (from Mönchengladbach). From Venlo, twice per hour (just 40 minutes) to Eindhoven, from Arnhem also twice per hour with one chance, takes 70 minutes).
Coming from the north.
Either cross the border at Oldenzaal (from Niedersachsen and further, or from Scandinavia and Poland). It takes two or three changes, and 2 – 2.5 hours.
Coming from the west.
A few times a day, London St. Pancras is connected without any changes to Rotterdam Centraal. Several more with an extra change in Brussels; see for more details Brussels airport Zaventem.
