18th World Youth Teams Championships

Results

The 18th World Youth Teams Championships will be held at the NH Eindhoven Conference Centre Koningshof in Veldhoven, the Netherlands July 31st to August 7th, with Registration and Opening Ceremony on July 30th.

It will be preceded by the European Youth National Pairs and Transnational Pairs at the same location.

For the U21 and U31 teams, matches will be 14 boards played straight through (i.e. no switch). The U26, U26W and U16 matches will be 12 boards, also played straight through The U26W will play a double Round Robin.

Updated times:

Registration, the Captains’ Meeting & the Opening Ceremony take place on July 30th.

The Captains’ Meeting will be at 17.30 and the Opening Ceremony at 19.30

Play will begin at 09.30 each day, starting on 31st July.

All 5 Series play a 5 day round robin starting on 31st July and ending on 4th August.

This will be followed by one day each of Quarter-finals, Semi-finals and Finals on 5th, 6th & 7th August respectively.

Non-qualifiers will play a BAM Teams. New teams are also welcome to enter the BAM as a stand-alone event.
This will probably combine all five Series but with separate classifications.
